Imo North Senatorial Bye Election: Cajetan Duke DG, Imo APC Media Speaks

The attention of All Progressives Congress, APC, Imo State chapter under the able leadership of Prince( Barr)Marcillinus O. Nlemigbo has been drawn to another laughable, though unfortunate and of no political value, meeting organized by Dan Nwafor purported to be APC stakeholders meeting wherein he erroneously claimed to have made certain decisions as they affect the forthcoming Imo North senatorial bye-election.

Ordinarily, we would have deliberately ignored such inconsequential and absolutely insignificant gathering that could best be described as a post covid-19 get together meeting of former appointees of former governor, Rochas Okorocha and political associates of his erstwhile chief of staff and son-in-law Ugwumba Uche Nwosu.

But for the records and benefit of undiscerning members of the public, we are once again moved to state as follows:

i. That there was no such stakeholders' meeting of All Progressives Congress, APC, Imo State chapter held anywhere in the state.

ii. That the purported meeting as convened by Senator Rochas Okorocha and presided over by Dan Nwafor was nothing but a post covid-19 get-together of a rump, reminant of the politically crushed dynasty still struggling to find its way as it is currently stranded on the political crossroads of the state.

iii. That any purported decision reached at such ridiculous gathering doesn't represnt the position of our great party, as Imo APC had during it's last expanded caucus meeting deliberated on the Imo North senatorial bye-election and it's resolution concerning mode of primaries submitted to the national leadership of the party for approval.

iv. That the absence of all notable and critical stakeholders of the party in the state, including but not limited to all the Imo North Senatorial aspirants, is an indication that such frivolous gathering was by all means worthless and of no value.

v. That all the aspirants for the Imo North bye-election by themselves -  individually and collectively - have continued to demonstrate in practical terms their unalloyed loyalty to the leadership of the party under Prince M.O. Nlemigbo.

vi. That by the conventions and provisions of our party's constitution, His Excellency, Distinguished Senator Hope Uzodimma,  by virtue of his position as the executive governor of Imo State and a member of our party, remains the leader of the party in the state.

vi. That asmuch as we understand the reason for their frustration, delusion and hallucination, we can't but help to urge them to embrace the prevailing reality, that Senator Okorocha is no more the sole administrator of APC as hitherto was the case.

Finally, we wish to urge our teeming members in the state, and particularly in Imo North senatorial zone not to be misled. They should disregard any such news, as it remains an effort in futility.

APC... Everywhere you go!!!

Everywhere you go... Hope is the governor, Marcon is the chairman!!!
