The Chief Executive Officer of Ibari Ogwa Entertainment World, Owerri, Imo state, Chukwudi Ofoha,has distributed food items to hundreds of families in his Ogwa community in the Mbaitoli Local Government Area of the state.
Distributing the food items to his kinsmen, the entertainment guru, said that it was his own contribution to humanity as the world battles coronavirus pandemic.
The food items included bags of rice, beans, garri, cartons of noodles and unaccountable tubers of yam.
Ibari Ogwa, said that privileged individuals and Corporate Organization must assist governments at all levels in combating COVID 19.
He encouraged his kinsmen to obey the government\’s instructions on the measures to adopt in winning the war against the virus .
Ofoha, said that the palliative was a way the Ibari Ogwa Entertainment world was using to support the government in ensuring that hunger did not ravage the state.
He said \” while we will keep supporting the government\’s steps in combating the dreaded COVID-19, we believe that this is the time everybody must come together to fight this virus .This is a war against humanity and as a people of the same identity, origin and culture we must unite to fight this virus.
\” We will continue to provide palliatives for our people. Ibari Ogwa Entertainment world believes that COVID-19 is a war everybody must fight together. This is not time to play politics. This is not time to score cheap political points or apportion blames to Mr A or B but a time to collectively find a permanent solution to this virus.
