Face of Arise Africa 2018 was indeed a huge success. The event which also feaured Distinguished Personality & Best Brand Awards was filled with lots of glitz & glamour and held at the prestigious Rockview Hotel, Owerri IMO.
The 2nd edition of the pageant held on Saturday 28th of July 2018 as the winner emerged in what would go down as a free and fair contest.
Queen Emmanuella Uzoho – a 200 level student of Parasitology, Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awaka emerged the winner of the Face of Arise Africa 2018.
Born on 15 Dec 1995. The new Queen is from Nwangele LGA, Imo and represented Togo during the competition. Her hobbies includes singing and dancing. She really delighted the audience with her song during the talent exhibition and was outstanding during the talkshow
Face of Arise Africa is an annual scholarship pageant organized by Sommies Ltd & GCFN Consults . An event, modelling and entertainment outfit based in owerri IMO.

The event witnessed the unveiling of Arise Africa International Magazine. The winner gets to be on the cover page of this Magazine that seeks to raise the beautiful continent of Africa.
The highlight of the event was the talkshow which was centered on THE ROLE OF WOMEN IN LEADERSHIP & ENTREPRENEURSHIP
This year\’s edition of the pageant was not just about being beautiful, having poise, dancing/dressing well, and have the curves, glam/glow physically. It was all about having the brain too.
It was all about intellectual boldness, courage and strength.
Ability to speak in a manner that would cause actions to be made.
Women are the most powerful beings in the world, not by physical strength, but by our internal strength. A woman can lift up or bring down kingdoms. If the young ladies can only understand the power that they wield, then truly you are a Queen, with or without a Crown and a Sash
In this edition, the body was not the deal but the brain is. The theme of this year\’s pageant is Beauty and Creativity
