His Excellency, Rt. Hon. Emeka Ihedioha, the immediate past deputy speaker of the federal republic, earlier today received his friend, the Executive Governor of Sokoto State, His Excellency, Rt. Hon. Aminu Waziri Tambuwal, at Sam Mbakwe Airport, Owerri. Gov. Tambawal is on official visit to Abia State, today.
Gov. Tambuwal described Ihedioha as a true friend who will turn the fortunes of the State for good when elected as the governor of the State come 2019. He thanked the members of the PDP, especially the women who despite the short notice came out in their numbers to receive him. He stressed that all hands must be on deck to ensure that Nigeria gets a purposeful leadership that suits the yearnings of the 21st century.
Rt. Hon. Emeka Ihedioha, CON, was accompanied by the members of the House of Representatives, Hon. Jones Onyerieri, Hon. Bede Eke, Hon. Hon Ezenwa Francis Onyewuchi, the Owerri Zonal Chairman of the PDP, Sir Bon Unachukwu, LGA Chairmen of the Party, Sir Vin Udokwu, amongst other leaders of the party.
Its worthy to note that the Abia State delegation was led by The Honorable Commissioner for Agriculture, Abia State, Hon. Uzo Azubike, Ijiriji Aba Ngwa.
