VICE CHANCELLOR IMSU RECEIVES JCCF LEADERS AS THEY PLEDGES SUPPORT TO HER ADMINISTRATION

A group that promotes the teachings of Christ on campus, the Joint Christian Campus Fellowship (JCCF) IMSU Chapter, has promised to support the Vice-Chancellor, Imo State University, Professor (Mrs.) Victoria Adaobi Obasi, in her efforts towards the actualization of the university\’s vision of becoming one of the best universities in the world.

The group made the declaration on Friday, 13th of April 2018, when they paid a courtesy visit to the Vice-Chancellor.

The President, Joint Christian Campus Fellowship, Wisdom Daniel, in his remarks, stated that the aim of the visit was to identify the chapter with the university ahead of the Vc\’s Birthday and show appreciation for her continuous support towards the Chapter.

In her remarks, the Vice-Chancellor, Professor (Mrs.) Adaobi Obasi, also a member of the fellowship stated that love is the greatest gift of all to humankind and Jesus was a perfect example of the display of love.

Mentioning the University’s vision and her latest achievements, the Vice-Chancellor attributed the feats to a constant commitment to the things of God.

She congratulated the JCCF team on their skillfulness and asked God to continue to increase their works in spreading the gospel of Christ and bringing greater unity among all people in the body of Christ in the campus.

During the visit, there was a formal introduction of the Chapter’s new executives as well as prayers for the Vice-Chancellor, his family and the University as a whole.
